Plan your meals including lots of fruits and vegetables, some bread, rice or pasta for that carbohydrate level that you need, in addition to lean meat and protein rich-foods. Sweets, cool drinks and pastries should be occasional indulgences only.

7.  Control your fat intake.

Fat is not the culprit that leads to overweight. You should have this to keep your weight at the proper level.

Rest assured there is such a thing as healthy fats. Olive, peanuts and canola oil have great quantity of them. Tuna, salmon and mackerel have omega-3 fats which is just perfect for the heart.

8.  Work out.

Relinquish your car if you are only moving a few blocks from home, utilize the stairs instead of the elevator, jog, cycle or skate. Use these small actions and other home chores if you are really too lazy to hit the gym and take exercise classes.

Make sure that you do this on a regular basis and you will not even believe that you are already putting off pounds with these easy activities.

It does not matter how much weight you are going to shed. What is crucial is that you keep realistic goals for yourself.

Eat well, drink lots of water, have enough sleep and exercise. This will show you a better chance of putting off weight and improving your health, which would result in a new, healthier you.
